Commercial
Semiconductors
Why
Commercial Semiconductors?
The use of commercial semiconductors has revolutionized
industry around the world, enabling the production of technology
that simply wasn’t viable before the properties of these special
elements were discovered. Semiconductors have electrical conductivity
properties that allow a certain level of conductivity between
other materials. They’re important because, for many
applications conductivity is vital, but too much is undesirable.
There
are only a few materials that can successfully be used as
semiconductors: silicon is the most widely used, but germanium
and selenium are two other examples. Semiconductors have
enormous potential for commercial applications.
We Have the Semiconductor You’re Looking
For!
We stock a full line of commercial semiconductors. Perhaps
the major names in commercial semiconductors are Motorola,
Philips, and Texas Instruments…. Of course we stock all
of them. But they’re just a few of the names we carry.
